In the first few years of my recovery, I found it so hard to reconnect to the world post abuse with the loss of my comforts - job, home, status and even family. Walking about in a world that didn't understand trauma or me, I felt isolated and faced constant stigma because other people were uncomfortable with what happened to me.

We can hide our life stories but this makes reconnection even more difficult and anyway - why should we be ashamed of them?

361 is a gift from survivor to survivor. I've rolled up all the lessons I learnt the hard way over those years - so you don't have to. After counselling, there is nothing offered to us that feels real. At its heart 361 has an understanding of how it really feels to be a survivor and how lonely, scary and hopeless that can sometimes feel in an uncaring and uninformed world.

The 361 programmes are spirals not addictive cycles- we can work through them again and again as we face the same situations in our lives. From a higher level each time we begin them, we will be able to manage our emotions better by building up strategies which work for us. All 361 programmes last for 12 weeks. Choose from 361 Recovery, 361 Sober and 361 Pages. 10 years on, I've now worked with hundreds of women using 361 Recovery in groupwork and through my one to one coaching service 361 Diamond.

I've also helped many people to get sober or think about their drinking with 361 Sober and I am celebrating 7 years sober myself. That was a tough few years! I've also facilitated 361 Pages working with writers and mental health peer support groups to suggest writing strategies to manage the hard work of daily creative recovery. If all this feels too exhausting, you can access 361 Recovery in the comfort of your bedroom by ordering and working through the 361 Recovery guide or listening to the 361 podcast.

The effects of the 361 programmes can be life changing if we are willing to face the mirror. Are you ready? By choosing to work with 361 you are choosing a new timeline Beyond Recovery. Victim, survivor, what lies beyond? Let's find out together. I look forward to working with you so that you too can shine.
